​Havana Caravan Bar was born from a love of celebrations; a fully refurbished 60’s Franklin van with hardwood benches, bar fridges, two large stainless-steel serving sinks and a tropical feature ceiling.

We serve beer & cider, wine, champagne, spirits, non alcoholic drinks and of course our specialty, cocktails! 

Havana Caravan Bar caters to all kinds of events, able to turn any celebration into a memorable one, with specialised drinks, our fun and professional team and a beautiful caravan that serves as the centre of it all.

How does it work?
We bring the van, staff, barware, glassware, and all the ice we need for the duration of the event. – you supply the drinks!

What kind of drinks do you serve?
We’re equipped to serve any selection of wine, champagne, soft drinks, beer and cider, as well as cocktails of course. We also have an urn if you would like the option of tea and coffee. Please note that beer, cider and soft drinks must be served from bottles or cans. We aren’t able to serve beer from kegs.

We want a signature drink or cocktail – can you do that?
Absolutely! If you have a favourite cocktail or would like us to tailor a drink to suit your event, just let us know!

How far will you travel?
Where do you need us to go?
Our standard pricing includes travel within a 30km radius of Geelong. For events outside that area, a travel fee applies.

What kind of licences do you have?
Havana Caravan Bar holds public liability insurance, and all staff are RSA certified.

Do you offer table service?
We prefer to serve exclusively from the van, but we will wander around regularly to clear empty glasses. This helps to keep staff numbers (and your costs) as low as possible!

We can offer table service at certain events so please don't hesitate to ask the question! 

What kind of glassware is provided?
Cocktails and champagne are served in coupe glasses (the classic style used commonly for champagne towers, which we offer as well!). Wine is served in a long-stemmed wine glass, and spirits are served in whiskey glasses. Tea and coffee is served in paper cups.

What if we want to kick on?
30 minutes before the end of service we start serving out of paper cups, and will move your remaining drinks to a pre-agreed spot – just make sure you’ve got a few bottle openers and cups to keep you going!

What set up requirements do you have?
1 dedicated 240v power plug to power for our fridges, lighting and urn.
Pre-chilled drinks, so that we can serve to your guests straight away!
If you're planning on having 60 or more guests, we also ask that you arrange for a cool room. This ensures a steady supply of chilled drinks for the duration of the event.

We need to be sure that we can easily get Havana Caravan Bar into the venue, and that we have a flat surface to work on! If you have any concerns regarding access, please let us know so that we can organise a site check. The Havana Caravan Bar dimensions are as follows:

We’re having the wedding ceremony and reception in the same spot, will you need to get in earlier?

Set up is not something we can keep “out of sight, out of mind", so if you are planning on having us near the ceremony location, please let us know, as we will need to sneak in early! There is an additional fee for this, to ensure that we don't disturb your ceremony while we setup.

Who deals with rubbish, and how?
Rubbish bins must be supplied onsite by either the client or the venue so that we can collect and clear empty bottles throughout the event. Due to weight restrictions, unfortunately we aren’t able to take away empties or event rubbish with us, and this will need to be arranged with your venue.

Do you charge for broken glassware?
Accidents happen! We charge a $200 bond for glassware; breakage / loss is charged at $3 per glass and deducted from the bond, with the remainder refunded to your nominated account within 7 business days after the event

Are there any cancellation fees?
Nobody wants to be stood up! Once we receive your deposit and confirm the booking, that date is yours and we will decline all other enquiries. Deposits are not refundable. If we receive notice of a cancellation within 60 days of the event: you are liable for the full booking fee.

How do we make a booking?
Scroll down to send a request through our online form, giving us as many details about your event as possible! We will get back to you with a initial quote, our brochure and a copy of our terms and conditions.
Once all the details have been worked out, we will forward you an invoice. A deposit is required to secure your booking date, with the remainder due 7 days prior to your event.
After locking in your event, we will provide you with all the information you need to organise your drinks!
